This article provides a comprehensive overview of Dr. Muhammad Hamidullah's scholarly and intellectual contributions, with a specific focus on his pioneering work in international law, Seerah and Islamic history. It highlights his multifaceted expertise, which not only harmonized traditional Islamic disciplines with modern intellectual principles but also effectively communicated them to the Western world. He is undeniably recognized as the founder of modern Islamic international law, having presented the principles of Islamic law, treaties, and the rules of peace and war within a contemporary framework.
