Abstract

The concept of divine blessings, known in Arabic as "انعمت علیھم," is a core belief in Islam that highlights the mercy and grace of Allah towards his believers. This concept encompasses various aspects of life, including physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being, as well as material and intangible possessions. A detailed study of the concept of Anʿamta ʿalayhim reveals the profound depth of Allah's blessings upon his followers. These blessings can manifest in countless forms, such as good health, financial stability, loving relationships, and spiritual guidance. They are not limited to material possessions but also include intangible gifts like peace of mind, contentment, and inner strength. The Quran emphasizes the importance of recognizing and being grateful for these blessings, as it is through gratitude that believers can draw closer to Allah and strengthen their faith.

In an applied study of Anʿamta ʿalayhim, researchers have found that practicing gratitude for divine blessings can have profound effects on one's overall well-being. Studies have shown that individuals who regularly express gratitude for the blessings in their lives are generally happier, more optimistic, and better equipped to cope with life's challenges. This is because gratitude promotes a positive mindset, fosters resilience, and cultivates a sense of abundance and fulfillment.
