Abstract

This research paper aims to highlight the use of artificial intelligence in teaching the Arabic language. The use of the Arabic language in cyberspace is rapidly increasing, but the diversity of its resources, tools, and services remains limited. Artificial intelligence is currently being used to accelerate language learning by adjusting learners' exposure to patterns based on their information. In this context, language learning is a process based on repeating sentence patterns that show the relationships between words, which limits traditional methods and rote learning.

The media has been filled in recent years with discussions of the term "artificial intelligence," news about its technologies, and the promotion of its achievements. So, what is artificial intelligence? Where and how did it originate? What is its history? What are its setbacks and successes? This is what is detailed in the first section, which consists of eight parts that form the foundation for the following sections of the chapter.

The second section addresses how problems within the framework of artificial intelligence are tackled by its two main schools: analytical and statistical numerical methods. The third section focuses on one of the major issues in the field of artificial intelligence—perhaps the biggest one—namely, the modeling of natural languages and their automatic processing, along with the fundamental challenges it faces. The next section examines the current state of scientific research and technological development in the automatic processing of natural languages. The fifth section discusses whether the development of computational processing for natural languages will advance to the point of mimicking the capabilities of human intelligence, or perhaps even surpass them, or if there is a limit that cannot be exceeded. This is not just a deeply theoretical philosophical issue, but one that shapes the direction of research and development in this field.
